History:
LaVern Liske built his first home over 40 years ago for his young, growing family. For 20 years, while working full time in the telecommunications industry, he continued to build homes on a part time basis. In 2002, he decided to custom build on a full-time basis.
Using his core of reliable sub-trades, many years of experience, and word of mouth advertising, he continued to build, taking only 10-12 projects at a time. His son, Brad Liske, has joined his dad in building quality homes for families in Edmonton and the surrounding areas. The two of them work on each project together, making double sure
that every home is built with the highest standards, using the best people. With the two of them working side-by-side, by the time the home is complete, every client is able to say without question, that the simple promise was fulfilled... they love their home.
Just recently, an additional company was created to meet the increased demand for affordable housing and to seek to revitalize the mature neighborhoods in the Edmonton area. This new company is called Custom Garage Suites. Custom Garage Suites builds living spaces above detached garages. These living spaces could be used as rental suites, a home office, guest living space, an in-law suite, etc... It's really limited to your own imagination. We take on very few projects every year. This is by choice, because we believe that quality far out weights quantity. Because we only build a few homes a year: we are able to be there every day, meet with you as the client on a one-on-one basis and get to know exactly how you would like your new home to look and feel.

We are not a custom builder in the common sense of the word. We have no templates or stock blueprints or a standard set of specs. We create unique, one-of-a-kind living spaces based on the unique tastes and lifestyles of our clients. Every home is a one-of-a-kind work of art.

What does this mean? Simply put, we are a small family business that prides itself on creating great homes for other families. Lavern (father) and Brad (son) work together to build and Rosie (Lavern's wife) does all the books and Lee Ann (Brad's wife) has been known to do some interior decorating. As a family we work together to make sure that our clients love their home.
